The Director of Human Resources provides leadership and strategic direction for both Human Resources and Compliance. The ideal candidate will provide high quality advice and counsel on a broad range of people matters, manage the execution of HR programs designed to create a high performing culture, and enable the organization to achieve its strategic imperatives. They will also collaboratively contribute to the HR Leadership team through active participation and leadership of HR team goals, initiatives and with a strong commitment to rigorous training programs and reporting and investigating protocols.
You will be responsible to:
Demonstrate strong business acumen to coach and provide advice and counsel to all levels of management to support them through the people impact to business initiatives, ensuring the right information is available to leaders to assist in their decision making.
Act as a broker of services from HR Centers of Excellence, to ensure the right supports are provided to the business in the attraction, onboarding, development, and engagement of employees.
Provide input to enterprise wide human resource programs providing insights into the specific and diverse needs of various parts of the organization and its employees.
Support leaders in making organizational design and restructuring decisions, providing a holistic view of the organization and how/where work is done.
Lead Strategic Planning efforts for the enterprise. Ensure outcomes are shared with HR Leadership to develop a strategic workforce planning agenda that is actionable, consumable and easily communicable to the business.
Support leaders in creating and fostering a positive employee experience that results in a committed and capable workforce. This includes providing advice in the areas of change management, performance, disciplinary action and terminations, employee coaching, conflict resolution, and establishing cultural expectations and norms.
Lead a team of HR professionals and ensures consistent service and support is provided to the business.
Enable the team to provide value added services through data analysis and interpretation.
Ensure execution and follow up on core programs such as employee engagement, strategic workforce planning, culture, talent and leadership assessment.
Work in conjunction with peer leaders to effectively deliver talent reviews, year end performance processes, total rewards programs and talent acquisition initiatives.
Your experience includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Business /Human Resources or a related field
Master Degree (MBA) strongly preferred or equivalent work experience
CHRL designation is preferred
10-15 years of relevant experience in Human Resources with at least 5-10 years of experience in a managerial capacity supporting organization design, organizational changes, and employee relations
5-10 years leadership /people management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead through change
Superior communication skills – a persuasive and articulate speaker, writer, and presenter.
