Job Description

This Contract role (3 months) will become full-time and is an opportunity to establish yourself with a reputable and stable manufacturer in the London, ON region.

We are seeking a down-to-earth yet polished HR professional with a strong generalist background to join our well-respected client’s team.

You will have strong communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, a natural confidence with both senior level team members and an ability to connect with warehouse personnel. You will have a combination of both relevant education and manufacturing experience.

In this generalist role, you will engage in employee relations, payroll responsibilities, recruitment and training etc. You will be a Jack/Jill of all trades and like it! Multi-tasking is fun for you and shifting gears with finesse, comes naturally for you.

Requirements include:

Certificate and/or Diploma in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources

3-5 years HR experience in warehousing/a distribution centre or manufacturing, preferably with a generalist focus

Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

Solid foundation in Recruitment and Selection
