Our client; a successful manufacturer, in Stratford Ontario, requires an experienced Human Resources Manager has responsibility and oversight for the day to day operations of their facilities to provide planning and delivery of all human resources policies and maintain talent management, compensation and benefits, succession planning, recruitment and training in this fast-paced environment.
The Human Resources Manager will make recommendations to senior management regarding HR strategy for all employee relations, benefits, WSIB claims management and coordinate all facets of the performance management system plus evaluations, manage and direct the Health and Safety program and assist in planning and development of new policies and strategy while maintaining a strong employee/management relationship.
In addition, lead the recruitment program for all levels of staff and management, maintain compliance for all employment legislation and lead the efforts for continuous improvement processes in human resources. This individual will be looked to for innovative solutions and approaches.
Post-secondary education in a related specialty
CHRP, or working towards, designation preferred
Proven human resources management in manufacturing (5 years+)
Knowledge of all pertinent legislation/WSIB
Communication and cooperation are key to this role.
