Our client is looking an extremely competent and highly driven individual to join the our ever growing team as an IOT Solution Architect. This position requires managing multiple projects (internal or customer) with cross functional teams.
Develop IoT Gateway System Architecture, system block diagram, Hardware and Software interfaces, System Requirements and allocate them to Hardware and Software functions
Develop Hardware, embedded/firmware, and Software requirements and drive the hardware and software team(s) on the overall product design
Create POC for Cortex processor boards, prototype, build and field-testing for growth and innovation by designing IoT Gateway system starting at the individual device through connectivity, data collection and storage, cloud, middleware, and APIs.
Develop, deploy, and extend IoT solutions to integrate with processor circuitry that involve both hardware and software with protocols and interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO, CAN, USB, Gigbee, Ethernet, PCIe, HDMI Interface, WiFi (RSSI, RCPI, DHCP), Lora, Bluetooth, and 4G).
Drive the product design to the next phase of development on Linux Platform/RTOS and further upgrade to any new Linux (Yocto) versions compatible with the hardware. Utilize multiple technologies around C/C++, Python, Java, Embedded & Web Technologies and support Media Player SDK & Gesture Recognition Framework.
Collaborate on concepts, technology experience, and implementations with technology partners and customers.
Develop System, Hardware, and software testing strategies – ATP, Functional, PVT, DVT, Qualification, Unit & Integration testing, API Integration Testing, IoT platform integration using REST and SOAP testing. Review and approve the test plans created by systems, hardware, and software team(s).
Design and Implementation of Hardware, Software architect design for bare metal devices, Bug Fixing, Verification Testing, Reliability testing and SW release.
Design & Development of IoT hardware platforms, communication boards, edge devices needed for the gateway and also demonstrate the common features across prospective customers.
Assist the Software Teams on various technologies – internet protocols like CoAP, MQTT, Wi-Fi communications, Wireless Mesh Networks, and 802.11 a/b/g/n protocols.
Integrate Linux APIs (get network statistics, CPU, memory usage. Maintain and build code for multiple target platforms (ARM and MIPS tool chains).
Develop asynchronous programming, network/socket programming IPC and System APIS to generate high performance code on Embedded OS, hardware schematics, & drive the layout teams on board designs.
Interface with Hardware and software teams and drive the entire product design by closely working with Sales & Marketing Team(s). Review Hardware and Software Architectures, designs, Verification and Validation strategy.
Organize product demos to technology partners and customers to enable efficient product sales. Involve in Pre-Sales Activities, attend industry events, demonstrate the product and support Sales & Marketing Team(s)
Education:Bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience(computer engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related) equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelors degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
Experience: 5+ yrs of experience in all the product design life cycle including system architecture,IOT Platforms.
LTE- based LPWAN “LTE Cat NB1” (NB-IoT) and “LTE Cat-M1”, site surveys, requirements capturing, deployment challenges required
Strong understanding of wired networks, including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs is a must
Understand wireless security methodologies incl. WPA2 Enterprise
Experience: In depth knowledge of IoT hardware platforms, Embedded/firmware architectures, cloud platforms, middleware, APIs, and Testing is a must.
Location: Work Location will be in the United States. You must be eligible to work without requiring sponsorship.

Strong communication skills are a pre-requisite as the candidate will interface with a lot of different people within and outside the company.
Self-starter and highly motivated. Ability to travel extensively within the United States (once restrictions are lifted)
