    Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead end-to-end materials management, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Develop and execute agile strategies for material procurement, ensuring optimal inventory levels and rapid response to changing demand.
    • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
    • Implement robust inventory control measures, utilizing data analysis and lean principles to minimize stockouts and carrying costs.
    • Oversee warehouse operations, optimizing material handling, storage, and distribution practices to support production schedules.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve materials management processes, driving efficiency, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and customer service teams, fostering effective communication and coordination.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
    • years of experience in materials management or a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, data analysis, and inventory optimization techniques.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant software systems and tools, including ERP/MRP systems and data analytics platforms.
