Job Description
Our manufacturing clients in food, consumer packaging, and automotive manufacturing have immediate openings for Production Supervisors in multiple locations including Woodstock, London, Kitchener, Stratford, Mississauga, Hamilton, and Windsor.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience with supervising a team, while sometimes the only manager on shift.
Your leadership and maturity is paramount, along with an innovative approach to utilizing downtime effectively.
You will be responsible to oversee equipment and employees to meet daily objectives, ensure production requirements/timelines are met, complete production reports and data reports, implement continuous improvement activities, monitor Health and Safety issues, promote 5S standards and most importantly lead and motivate the production team.
The incumbent must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Related secondary education and experience within manufacturing would be preferred background.
