Our highly reputable client is seeking a College or University graduate with 1-3 years of work experience holding a leadership role, overseeing a team of at least 10-20 individuals.
What we really need is integrity, reliability and a strong ability to relate to a diverse team. You will have a track record of earning respect for your level-headedness, advanced listening skills and experience implementing practical, tried-and-true processes, in addition to working in less than pristine conditions.
You must be a hands-on Supervisor with a strong commitment to the accountability of your team. Your ability to implement processes to ensure customer satisfaction, quality products and on-time delivery is key.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
-Supervisory experience of a team of 10-20 employees
-Track record of ensuring quality products, which exceed customer expectations and are delivered on time, on budget
-Evident leadership ability born out of service to others whether volunteer or paid work.
-Ability to communicate with team members from culturally diverse backgrounds. Spanish would be an asset.
-A strong work ethic. You are not “faint of heart”. You can handle the heat and humidity and like to work on your feet.
-Achievement of post secondary education preferably in Agriculture, but not mandatory
